Responsabilidades

Define the technical direction of verification services, shaping the architecture and engineering standards that support business onboarding.

Ensure that corporate customers are accurately verified, beneficial ownership is established, and regulatory screening requirements are met efficiently.

Work across backend and frontend technologies, building resilient systems that balance compliance, security, performance, and customer experience.

Improve third-party integrations, automate verification decisions, and eliminate recurring technical failures before they affect customers.

Mentor experienced engineers, influence architectural decisions, and establish patterns that enable teams to deliver high-quality software.

Collaborate across teams to align technical decisions with business priorities and regulatory requirements.

Apply continuous deployment practices, feature flags, monitoring, and rollback strategies to deliver changes safely and incrementally in a high-stakes environment.

Establish measurable outcomes to ensure that improvements deliver tangible benefits for customers, operational teams, and the wider business.

Requisitos

Approximately 8 years of experience building and operating production software systems.

Deep proficiency in Rust, including building reliable backend services.

Proven experience designing architectures and engineering patterns that other developers can build upon.

Strong understanding of distributed systems, service contracts, system reliability, and secure software design in production environments.

Experience integrating external services with robust timeout handling, retries, idempotency, circuit breakers, and tested fallback mechanisms.

Demonstrated ability to improve team performance through technical guidance, architectural decision-making, reusable tooling, mentoring, and effective design reviews.

Familiarity with, or the ability to quickly learn, gRPC, Temporal, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, and GitLab CI/CD.
